To enjoy hot, combine 2g of matcha (½ teaspoon / 2 bamboo scoops) with 15ml of 70°C water in a warmed bowl. Whisk to create a smooth paste, then add the remaining 50ml of water and whisk until combined for a smooth, creamy finish.

Favourite Matcha!

It’s my favourite matcha to have at home for such a great price. My only criticism is it is quite annoying to have it arrive in a small bag. I often lose some of the product either from spillages when trying to transfer it into the tin or it getting caught in the creases of the bag.

The BEST matcha I’ve tried

As a total matcha obsessive, I’ve tried quite a few brands but without a doubt Blendsmiths is the best! Its unique flavour is distinctive, well balanced and intense all at once! It blends beautifully and has no bitter after taste! It’s pure and gorgeously green and is part of my afternoon routine to see me through until dinner time! I alsouse it in my overnight oats and porridge which works really well and tastes amazing! Highly recommend 💚🫶🏻🍵

Subtle but lovely

I tried this matcha as a latte. The colour was a brilliant green and frothed up beautifully. Once added to milk and a little vanilla syrup the flavour was subtle but had the essential umami matcha flavour without an overpowering bitterness. The matcha was slightly difficult to get out of the packet with out a matcha explosion 😅 but overall i am very impressed and found it very moreish.

Nicest matcha I have EVER had

Truly, I have tried many various Matcha powders and teas and this is my favourite. This is a beautifully balanced flavour; leafy in taste rather than tangy or bitter or overly potent as some can be. I have no bias to say this other than I simply encourage others to try it. I have gifted a few tins to friends who are usually coffee addicts (as I was before this matcha!) and I cannot believe I am still on the same minimal sleep and high overwhelming stress as usual but feel SO much clearer in my focus and calmer in my mood when I drink this instead of coffee. It’s not jittery or dehydrating and I still feel alert without feeling wired, comforted from a hot drink without the bloat or sleeplessness.

I honestly think it’s helped me lose a bit of weight too, maybe it’s other factors in the mix as well but I do seem to be nailing a lot of this Matcha - 2 to 4 cups a day (and just 1 coffee now). And have leaned out a bit!
