Hojicha, expertly blended with coconut sugar for a perfectly toasty, comforting taste. Deep roasted green tea notes meet the nutty sweetness of coconut sugar for a smooth, balanced latte.
Like matcha, it begins as Japanese green tea. The difference? It's gently roasted before being ground, which unlocks a smooth, nutty, warm profile while naturally lowering the caffeine and astringency. The result is rich, rounded and easy to drink, without the sharpness.

Meet the Hojicha Family
Low caffeine. BIG flavour.
Two ways to enjoy hojicha. Pure Hojicha is rich, toasty and naturally smooth, while our Hojicha Blend adds coconut sugar, date powder and sea salt for a gently sweet, more indulgent latte.
Amazing blend with the perfect balance of toasty hojicha with natural toffee sweetness, I made it with oat milk and it was delicious! Great with Maple syrup for some sweetness.

Subtle Saltiness
There is quite a trend towards adding salt to sweet things - e.g. salted caramel in chocolate and ice cream. In this instance, the addition is welcome and rewards your tastebuds with subtlety as well as smoothness. You can't really taste it, to be honest but the salt lends a warmth to the overall flavour combinations. Really impressed and, once more, not too sweet!

Super smooth!
I have subscribed to your hot chocolate offer for about 1 year and am consistently impressed with the quality of your products and the depth of flavour that they offer. The taste is really delicious and exceptionally smooth on the palate whilst not being too sweet in the process. All I would say in addition is that it would be fantastic to receive the odd free gift or offer beyond the 10% reduction for subscribing - this is not me being greedy but it just makes the whole offer seem more interesting and innovative for the customer.

Pink Chai
This has got to be one of my favourite blends from Blendsmiths. It's so warm and comforting and I love that it's not too sweet either. It's a complete hug in a mug 🩷 I've recommended to my guests and they love it too
