How do you spice up your breakfast granola game? The answer our friends is add Blendsmiths Turmeric and Cinnamon Blend.

Crunchy, yummy and an absolute breakfast winner.

Ingredients
6/7 cups of rolled oats
1 tablespoon Blendsmiths Turmeric & Cinnamon Blend (You can go less, but if you go more, anything over 1 and 1/2 tablespoons is over powering)
A pinch of sea salt
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup mashed banana
1/2 cup coconut chips
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
Optional:
1/3 cup flax meal
1/3 cup chia seeds
3 tbsp hemp seeds
Method
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Combine all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Stir together the mashed banana and honey. Pour the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until well mixed and all the ingredients are coated, it should leave the mix with a lovely yellow colour.
Separate the mixture onto two baking sheets, and bake for 30 - 35 minutes, until the granola starts to brown. We recommend stirring and flipping it every 10 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Let cool completely (in the warm oven for crunchiest results!), then transfer to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dry place for two weeks.
Did you know? Certain grains in granola contain prebiotic fiber, which may increase the levels of healthy gut bacteria compared to cereals made with refined grains.
