BREWING
WITH THE
SMITHS
Are you getting the
most out of your blends?
There's nothing quite like visiting your local cafe, the sounds of people connecting, the waft of the freshly baked bread, the opportune moments of switching off from the world outside but as much as we would love to, we can't always spend every waking hour there.
Thankfully, making our blends in the comfort of your own home couldn't be easier!
TASTE THE SENSATION
Our blends can used in a number of ways, but to get the most out of them, we recommend following the instructions below demonstrating our most popular methods of brewing.
But, feel free to be as creative as you like - the possibilities are endless!
HOT!
Milk Frother
Simply, pour a cup full of milk into the milk frother and add the recommended dose of Blendsmiths powder.
Usually, the frother will have a selection of buttons from cappuccino foam to zero foam, select one and wait.
Pour yourself a drink, sit back, relax and enjoy!

Espresso Machine
1. Pour milk into a pitcher, add Blendsmiths powder and use the steam wand to heat to consumable temperature.
The ideal temperature is between 68 - 72 degrees, basically if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for your mouth.
2. Alternatively, add Blendsmiths powder and a touch of hot water into a cup and stir to silky paste.
Pour milk into your pitcher, heat to consumable temperature and pour on top of the paste. This is the perfect opportunity to show off your latte art skills!
The Hob
Measure and pour your milk into a pan.
Keep on a low heat and add your Blendsmiths powder. Keep stirring, this allows on the ingredients to mix in with the milk evenly.
Once simmering, your drink is ready.
Pour into your cup, sit back, put your favourite show on and indulge.

Microwave
It may not be in the true artisan spirit but using a microwave is a super quick and effective on making our drink blends.
Simply, add your milk and Blendsmiths powder into a microwavable cup, stir until thoroughly mixed.
Place in the microwave for a time suitable. Once the 'ping' goes, you're ready to enjoy.
